The GLT company was founded in 2007. Since that time, we have grown to one of the largest transport companies in Slovenia. Our development can also be seen internationally with 2 locations in 2 countries. In 2021, we moved to a new location, the Komenda Business Zone, near Ljubljana.
Beginnings
The beginnings of the family transport company date back to 1991, when the founder's father started as an independent carrier. In 2007, a new path began, the establishment of GLT d.o.o.
The beginnings of the company were transports to Russia, we transported goods on the longest routes to Chechnya and Siberia all the way to Krasnoyarsk, which is 6,500 km from here in one direction.
Nowadays our most important destinations are the countries of Western Europe.
From Portugal to Denmark, from Scotland to Greece.
From the Easter markets in the past, to the Western markets today.
